&lt;p&gt;also, i&amp;#8217;m starting workouts soon. I preferred soups, salads with lots of different vegetables and oil based dressings, avocados, berries, pomegranates, apples, kiwi, fish, chicken and things like that. I would try a bunch of healthy food, and use portion control, and see what you like best and try to stick with what you like! I ate less than a half hour from when I woke up and then every three hours after that. I tried to eat 4 small meals, each around 300 calories. Lean cuisines are also food options I love them! I tried not to eat later than 7 pm but would if nessesary. &lt;p&gt;okay so a lot of people have been asking how i lost my weight after seeing my before and after picture. i will write the specifics here so i do not have to re-write it 9238409284 times.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;DIET&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Around &lt;strong&gt;1200 cal. &lt;/strong&gt;a day (sometimes more, sometimes less, but usually around 1200)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I ate breakfast within 30 mins of waking up. I usually eat yogurt or a Morningstar vegetarian bacon biscuit. Then took a water bottle to school and drank the whole thing throughout the day.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;For lunch I usually eat a Morningstar black bean burger, half a can of Progresso soup, a sandwich on whole wheat bread with mustard, and no mayo, or a salad with 2 tbsp. oil based dressing.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If my mom makes dinner or I am at a friend’s house I will eat whatever they make for dinner, but just limit my portions. Most portion sizes are around the size of your fist. If my mom isn’t home I  usually make fish, salad, vegetarian burgers, sausage, or something simple and eat a salad or vegetables with it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I do not eat after dinner.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;For snacks, I usually have granola bars, yogurt, cheese and crackers, fruit, or vegetables.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I only drink juice and water. NO SODA or alcohol.I watch my juice intake though and limit it to 1-2 cups per day because they can be filled with sugar and have calories too.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When I go out to eat I only order water to drink, usually food at restaurants has a higher calorie count than what you would eat at home and you don’t want to add to that with drinks. Water also makes you feel fuller. I usually order off the “Less Than # Calorie” menu if they have one. If not I order salad with an oil based dressing and grilled meat or grilled chicken or fish.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I occasionally treat myself to something that is not healthy, like dessert when I go out to eat or 1/2 a doughnut every so often but no more than once a week.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;EXERCISE&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I try to go to the gym about 3 times per week. I start each gym visit with 5 - 10 min warm-up on the treadmill. I then usually go on the elliptical for 40-50 mins.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If I cannot go to the gym I go to the Fit TV Channel on &lt;a href="http://www.hulu.com/"&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.hulu.com"&gt;www.hulu.com&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/a&gt; and do a random workout like bikini body makeover.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I also recently started hooping, which is a great low impact exercise!&lt;/p&gt;
